More about our holdings

SIDR data holdings contains population-level, de-identified, and linkable, health-related data. Our data repository currently focuses on: 

• Administrative health data including demographic information (e.g., age, sex), health services use (e.g., hospital visits, physician claims), diagnoses and procedures etc. This data is provided by Health PEI. 
• Some publicly-available data such as area-level socio-economic indices. These datasets may be used to provide contextual information about the social determinants of health. 

In the future, data from other government departments (e.g., justice, education, and social development and housing) and large-scale population health surveys will be added.
